Improving My Own SEO

There aren’t that many Ross Hudginses out there, which should make my web search ranking competition light, but I actually have some semi-heavy hitters that I want to beat. Obviously I’m not going to link them here, more backlinks to their web presence will just improve their ranking. But one is a CEO who just wrote a book about AI SEO (yikes, might have to take the L against him) and another is a YouTuber with 3m+ subscribers. At least my LinkedIn is on the first page.

I want to start here by documenting some actions that I’d like to take that should improve my ranking. I’ll likely update this over time with results

1. This site - updating, modernizing, and increasing activity on this site
2. Also improve the SEO for this site in regards to offering web services to local businesses. Improving here will make this site and therefore my name stronger.
